The Seahorse You Never Imagined Existed

Imagine that your address is the sea. Imagine that to get to your own house, a car is not enough, you need a boat. Imagine waking up to marine animals in their natural habitat. This may sound like a fantasy, but the “Floating Seahorse” is as real as it gets.

The Seahorse You Never Imagined Existed

Lying in the Arabian Gulf, the world’s first sea-villa has been launched in Dubai by Kleindienst, a real estate and property developer company, as part of the Heart of Europe project on December 15th, 2015.

They basically consist of three levels: underwater level, a sea-level, and an upper level. Also, they all together span 4,004 square foot. They’re designed for families and guests since the rooms can be used for different purposes during the day and for accommodation at night.

According to the Kleindienst, the signature edition is inspired by the Emirati luxurious culture as it has eight main rooms. They include a sky majlis, a sky bedroom, a sea family room, a sea bedroom, an underwater ladies room, a master room, a coral entertainment room, and a coral guest bedroom.

Thus, instead of having a backyard, the owners of these villas have a floating deck on seawater and a coral garden view underwater.

Not to mention, the project consists of 40 houses which cost 12 million AED (almost 3.3 million dollars) each. They’re constructed within the Heart of Europe project which is located 4km away from the Dubai coast.

It’s worth noting that the company is constructing more seahorses in 25 locations all over the world. However, the significance of the Dubai ones lies in the fact that they’re the first to be launched, and they’re locally designed, engineered and built.
