Namu! A must for Korean and Asian Foodies!

Taking its name from the Korean word for “Wood” and occupying the full 31st floor of the V Hotel (click here to learn more about V hotel Curio Collection by Hilton Dubai), Namu is an unforgettable and probably the best Korean food in town! Dare to ask why?

The Service!

Friendly and welcoming staff. We were greeted right off the elevators and escorted to a table with spectacular views of Dubai canal!

The View!

Let’s talk about the view. Our table was facing Dubai Canal. An amazing spot. We got in just in time to view a remarkable sunset. A 180 degree open view of Dubai Canal was just breathtaking.

The FOOD!

The open cooking stations will water your taste buds. While this is not my first time eating Korean. It is definitely one of the best. You can feast your eyes with the rich menu.  We decided to share our meal and this is what we ordered.

              For starters: We went for the Namu kfc (free range fried chicken thighs with pine nuts) and Namu Gyoza (lobster and prawn gyoza (dumpling) with multiple sauces to complement the taste). A FIVE star!

For the main dish, we went for the “king prawn dae ha, (tiger king prawn, yuzu gan-jang” and “la galibi” (korean marinated black angus short ribs, pine nuts, gan-jang, garlic puree). The waygu was exceptional!!! Again a FIVE star! 

While we were beyond full, the waitress insisted we try Mochi ice cream for dessert. We sampled 3 flavors, coconut, hazelnut and mango! 

Overall, if you love Korean and Asian food, this is the place and if you wish to open up your taste buds to new culinary experience, then Namu is a must. Valentine is around the corner.
